Before you come in

The inventory page on this site is refreshed every morning from the store's own listings, so it's a good place to narrow down a car. When you find one, send me the stock number. I'll confirm it's still on the lot, send you a walkaround video if you want one, and have it ready to drive when you arrive.

If you'd rather keep things short at the store, tell me how you want to pay (cash, finance or lease) and whether you have a trade. Most of the paperwork questions can be answered before you leave home.

How pricing works at this store

Mercedes-Benz of Pompano is part of AutoNation. Its used cars that aren't certified are sold as AutoNation 1Price vehicles: the price is posted online and on the window, with no back-and-forth, and the store's page lists a 5-day, 250-mile money-back guarantee, a limited warranty and a CARFAX report with each one. Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz models carry the factory-backed CPO coverage instead.

On any car, new or used, I send the full number with every line shown: the car, each dealer fee, sales tax for your county, title and registration. Florida requires an advertised price to include every dealer fee, so it should never be a surprise.

Trading in or selling your car

The store buys cars outright, any year, make or model, even if you don't buy one there. Its page says a written offer is good for 7 days or 500 miles at any of its locations.

If you do trade toward a car, Florida charges sales tax on the price minus the trade credit, so the trade lowers your tax as well. And keep your Florida plate: moving it from your old car to the new one avoids the state's one-time $225 initial registration fee.

Coming from Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale or Miami

The store sits in north Broward, between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, so a lot of buyers come from Palm Beach County as well as Broward. Your sales tax depends on where you live, not where you buy: Florida applies the county surtax for the address on your registration, and only to the first $5,000 of the price.

The 2026 rates for the three nearby counties:

• Broward (Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Parkland): 6% state plus 1% county
• Palm Beach (Boca Raton, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach): 6% state plus 0.5% county, down from 1% on January 1, 2026
• Miami-Dade: 6% state plus 1% county

After you buy

The store runs its own service center, parts department and collision center, so the place you bought the car can also maintain it. Mercedes-Benz USA's prepaid maintenance plans cover routine service every year or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first, if you'd rather pay for that up front.

The store also has Spanish-speaking staff and a Spanish-language page for customers who prefer it.
